INTERNATIONAL: At the international stage, the 5-foot-11 goalkeeper made his senior team debut on September 4, 2015 after spending time with the Under-20 and Under-23 teams between 2013-2016. The San Pedro Sula native was the starting goalkeeper at the 2017 CONCACAF Gold Cup, where he helped Los Catrachos reach the quarterfinals, recording two shutouts in four appearances. López also appeared in two 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers, including the 1-1 draw against the United States last year.
OUTSIDE MLS: López comes to LAFC after spending the past five years with Honduran club, Real España, making 124 appearances since his debut in 2013. Last season, López helped Los Aurinegros win the Apertura 2017 for the first time in four years.
