MLS Experience

2021: Smith was selected fourth overall in the 2021 MLS SuperDraft by D.C. United on Jan. 21. He made his debut on April 24 in the 1-0 loss against the New England Revolution. Smith made a total of three appearances (one start) and logged 99 minutes with the Black-and-Red. On June 25, the forward was loaned to D.C. United’s USL Championship affiliated side, Loudoun United FC, where he made 17 appearances (15 starts), scored one goal, and logged 1,240 minutes.

College Experience

Smith scored 26 goals and recorded 11 assists in 63 appearances (43 starts) for Clemson from 2017 to 2020. In his final season in NCAA Division I in 2020, Smith scored eight goals and recorded three assists in 11 appearances (10 starts).
