Doyle is a striker who has proven himself in short order in MLS. The Irish international joined the league in 2015 after playing extensively in Ireland and England.

INTERNATIONAL: Has represented the Republic of Ireland regularly since 2006. He played at the 2012 Euros, has been named FAI Young International Player of the Year in 2006, and was named FAI Senior International Player of the Year in 2008 and 2010.

OUTSIDE MLS: Doyle began his career in his domestic league, playing for St. Patrick's Athletic and Cork City, winning the league title with the latter in 2005. Following that, he had long stints at English clubs Reading, with whom he won the Championship in 2005-06 and subsequently played for in the Premier League, and Wolverhampton Wanderers, where he won the League One title in 2013-14. He also played for Queens Park Rangers and Crystal Palace in short loan stints.

NOTES: Was a frequent strike partner to former LA Galaxy forward Robbie Keane for the Republic of Ireland.
