Juan Mata

CURRENT CLUB: Manchester United (Spain)

Juan Mata is a versatile attacking threat who can play on the wing or centrally. He was named the twice named the Chelsea Player of the Year (2011-12, 2012-13).

SPANISH NATIONAL TEAM

Mata has registered over 30 caps with La Roja but only two came during the 2010 World Cup and 2012 Euros. He did score the last of Spain's four goals in the 2012 Euro Final against Italy.

CLUB CAREER

After scoring 33 goals over four seasons with Valencia, Mata was acquired by Chelsea prior to the 2011-12 season. He was named their Player of the Year in his only two full seasons with the club. In the middle of the 2013-14 season he moved to Manchester United.
