Jon Conway joins the Fire in 2011 as the only member of the current squad to have one an MLS Cup championship. The veteran goalkeeper will look to provide an example and wisdom to younger Fire keepers Sean Johnson and Alec Dufty heading into his 12th professional season.

Toronto FC: 2010:  Served as a backup to Stefan Frei most of the season, but made one appearance in a 2-2 draw vs. CLB on 10/16…Appeared in one NutriLite Canadian Championship game, a 0-0 draw at VAN on 5/19…

Chivas USA: In September 2009, Conway’s rights were traded to Chivas USA  for a fourth round selection in the 2011 MLS SuperDraft and he finished the season backing up former Chicago Fire goalkeeper Zach Thornton…

New York Red Bulls: 2009: Made nine appearances, posting a 1-7-1 record and one clean sheet before being release on 6/29… 2008:  Appeared in a career high 28 matches, going 9-10-9 while earning seven shutouts in the process…2007:  Set a career high for appearances in a season with 14, earning a 6-5-2 record and helping the Red Bulls qualify for the MLS Cup playoffs…2006: Made 12 appearances for the MetroStars, posting a 7-2-3 record and five clean sheets, helping the New York Red Bulls to the MLS Cup playoffs…
