Watson is a long-time MLS veteran who is one of the most versatile players in the league. He started his career with the Houston Dynamo playing across the midfield but upon moving to Dallas, he was moved along the backline. There his athleticism stood out as his pace and technical ability were shown to be better than most players at his position.
INTERNATIONAL: Watson represents the Jamaican national football team. He has 52 career caps and one goal for The Reggae Boyz. Watson started all but one of Jamaica’s 2015 CONCACAF Gold Cup matches, including the championship game versus Mexico.
OUTSIDE MLS: Played for Sporting Central Academy in Jamaica for six seasons before moving to MLS.
