Career Summary

There may be no bigger challenge in Major League Soccer this spring than cracking the Real Salt Lake roster, but that’s exactly the challenge for University of Portland product Jarad vanSchaik. The good news is that the ex-midfielder – who RSL projects to be cover at fullback in the professional ranks – can seek some familiar company for tips on how to make the squad, as he will be hoping to join his former collegiate teammate Collen Warner, who the Utah side’s braintrust consulted before taking vanSchaik with the only pick it kept during January’s SuperDraft in Baltimore.
