MEXICAN NATIONAL TEAM

Moreno was first called up to the Mexican National Team as a 19 year old in 2007. Since 2010 his name has been one of the first on the teamsheet for whoever happens to be coaching the squad. He has over 60 caps.

CLUB CAREER

With less than 50 senior team appearances with Pumas, Moreno was acquired by AZ Alkmaar in the Eredivisie in 2007. There he captured one title (2008-09) and impressed enough to be transferred to Espanyol in 2011. He has been a regular starter for the Spanish side ever since.
