Fernandinho is a box-to-box midfielder who owns a powerful right foot. He is also great at breaking up opposition attacks in the midfield.

BRAZILIAN NATIONAL TEAM

Fernandinho made his international debut with Brazil in 2011 but did not appear in any of their games in 2013.

CLUB CAREER

After playing for Atletico Paranaense, Fernandinho joined Shakhtar Donetsk in 2005. He stayed there until 2013, winning six league titles and a UEFA Cup. He won the Premier League title in his first season with Manchester City.
