Joined FC Dallas on Feb. 4, 2013 in a trade with Toronto FC.

Professional

2013: Made 15 appearances for FC Dallas, including four starts, before landing on the disabled list after nursing a back injury for much of the season… tallied one assist in a 2-1 win over DC United on May 11. 2012: Hassli joined Toronto FC on July 20, in a trade with the Vancouver Whitecaps FC. The target forward scored three goals and two assists in eight appearances with Toronto FC. 2011: Hassli appeared in 44 matches for Vancouver, scoring 12 goals and five assists during league play. He was named as one of six inactive players on the MLS All-Star roster on July 25, 2011.

Before signing with MLS/Vancouver Whitecaps FC

Hassli enjoyed successful stints in Switzerland, France and England before being announced as Whitecaps FC’s first Designated Player on March 4, 2011. Hassli scored four goals in 16 Swiss Super League appearances for FC Zürich during the 2010-11 season. A native of Sarreguemines, France, he appeared in the UEFA Champions League with FC Zürich during the 2009-10 campaign. He finished third in the Swiss Super League goal scoring charts for the 2008-09 season after recording 17 goals and 10 assists for the league champions.

Since embarking on his professional career with FC Metz (France) during the 2000 season, Hassli has also appeared for: Southampton FC (England), Valenciennes FC (France), Neuchâtel Xamax (Switzerland), Servett e FC (Switzerland) and FC St. Gallen (Switzerland).

Personal

Hassli was born and raised in the Moselle department commune of Sarreguemines, which is based in the Lorraine region of northeast France and right next to the border with Germany... When not concentrating on his soccer career, Hassli enjoys listening to music, dining out and visiting friends. The striker is also a fan of English Premier League giants Chelsea FC.
