Koevermans, 32, has spent the past 11 seasons in the Dutch Eredivisie and Eerste Divisie, most recently with PSV Eindhoven. The native of Schiedam, Netherlands, began his professional career in 2000 with Sparta Rotterdam scoring 71 goals in 110 appearances for the club. Following the 2005 campaign, he moved to AZ Alkmaar where he continued his scoring ways collecting 31 goals in 52 appearances. In 2007, he moved to PSV Eindhoven and has spent the past four seasons with the club. Koevermans has earned four caps for the Dutch National Team and scored the winning goal over Luxembourg during a 2008 Euro Cup qualifying match.
2011: Appeared in ten matches, starting in nine, scoring eight goals, adding one assist, while logging 756 minutes. He scored his first goal on July 23 at Sporting Kansas City. CONCACAF Champions League: Appeared in seven matches, starting in six. Scored two goals during the group stage (against Tauro, and at FC Dallas).
2007-2011: Appeared in 52 matches, scoring 31 goals for AZ Alkmaar. International: Earned four caps for Netherlands. Scored his first international goal on November 17, 2007 against Luxembourg during EURO 2008 Qualifying.
2000-2005: Began professional career with Sparta Rotterdam. Made 120 appearances, scoring 71 goals during his five seasons with the club.
