Daniel Johnson

Option declined following 2018 season.

The technical winger saw time in 8 matches in 2017 including 30 minutes against the Revolution on April 15. With the experience he gained last year, Johnson should continue to provide quality depth for the Fire in 2018.

COLLEGE: Johnson joins the Men in Red from the University of Louisville. In two seasons with the Cardinals, the midfielder appeared in 41 games over the course of two seasons, scoring seven goals and adding five assists. In his freshman and sophomore seasons, Johnson appeared in 23 matches for the University of Maryland before transferring to Louisville.

OUTSIDE MLS: A native of Duluth, Ga., Johnson played for the West Ham Academy from 2009-2012.
