Donovan, who suffered a season-ending injury less than 15 minutes into his MLS debut, featured regularly for Orlando City B after his return to health in 2016, but had his option declined by the Lions following the 2017 season. The former Generation adidas player will now look to make his mark on MLS with the Dynamo.
INTERNATIONAL: The young defender has trained with both the U.S. U-18 and U-20 youth national teams, scoring three international goals.
OUTSIDE MLS: Made 15 appearances (14 starts) for Orlando City B in 2016 and 20 appearances (15 starts) for OCB in 2017. Played the full 90 minutes in 10 games played for RGV FC in 2018 and recorded one assist.
COLLEGE: Made a total of 15 appearances for North Carolina State in his freshman year, recording one goal and one assist.
