Career Summary

What Scouts Say: "Great athlete and great competitor ... Warrior. Doesn't allow guys to beat him ... Heartbeat of the team ... Jay DeMerit-type athleticism ... More like a marking back than a true centerback ... Not fast, but strong ... Reads the game well to make up for lack of speed ... Lack of zonal defending ... Limited on the ball at the next level. Questions about his technical side ... Never plays passes. Just gets the ball and bangs it up top ... Plays within himself ... On short side for next level ... Very good 1-v-1 defender and he's honest and athletic enough to do it ... Quality personality ... Has intangibles of a winner which are hard to find ... Nick Garcia but not as good ... If selected, he'd help push MLS players in training ... Has improved throughout college career ... Right back for him is a stretch. Would need to be in center of the field."
