Allen is a strong target forward with the speed to latch on to any long balls over the top as well. After starring in college, he will look to build on an MLS cameo in his first season, which he spent earning 2016 USL Rookie of the Year honors while playing for RBNY II.

INTERNATIONAL: US youth international … Named to US U-18 national team camp in April 2011 and played at Lisbon International Tournament. Broke in with US U-20 national team during FIFA U-20 World Cup qualifying.

COLLEGE: Four-year starter at Georgetown… Amassed 50 goals and 17 assists in 91 appearances, including 90 starts… Finished his career as the Hoyas’ all-time leading scorer… Allen was a unanimous choice for First Team All-Big East honors in 2015, his fourth-consecutive All-BIG EAST honor and his third-consecutive nod to the first team, as the Hoyas claimed the BIG EAST regular-season and tournament titles… Allen is also a three-time National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) All-American.
