Davis is an MLS legend who is third in league history in two impressive categories, with 122 career regular-season assists, and 368 games played by a field player. He is a six time MLS All-Star and a two time MLS Cup Champion. He was the runner-up in the 2011 MLS MVP voting and is the Houston Dynamo all-time leader in appearances, starts and assists. Davis was well loved in the Houston area, especially for his charitable work. Originally selected by the MetroStars with the third overall pick in the 2002 MLS SuperDraft, Davis will hope to maintain his high level in a new setting.

INTERNATIONAL: Davis has 17 caps for the United States Men's National team, and was a member of the 2014 World Cup squad. He started one game, against Germany in the group stage, in Brazil.

COLLEGE: Davis played two years at Saint Louis University, and was an NSCAA Second-Team All-American in 2001. He was named named to Soccer America's All-Freshman Team, Conference USA Freshman of the Year, first team All-Conference USA, C-USA Tournament MVP and NSCAA All-Midwest Region in 2000 after notching 11 goals and six assists in 19 games.
