Career Summary

MLS:

2008: Spent 2008 as the backup goalkeeper for the Wizards reserve team. Played the entire second half in the Wizards 2-1 exhibition win over storied Mexican team Atlas AC. 
2007: Spent 2007 as a league goalkeeper, called up by Toronto FC, FC Dallas, and Kansas City in both MLS and Reserve Division play. League goalkeepers are designed to step in on an emergency basis for teams who have experienced short-term injuries to two or more goalkeepers.

 

COLLEGE:

Set Seton Hall record for most career shutouts and was named 2006 Big East goalkeeper of the Year. Named second-team All-Region by adidas. Also trained in Spain and Chile with a Chilean Club team before joining the Wizards.

 

YOUTH:

Played U-17 at Match Fit Academy. Played for Central Jersey Riptide (2 years). Played for Hillside traveling team in Hillside, NJ in early youth. Played Region I ODP in France.

 

PERSONAL:

When off the field, Pardo enjoys spending time with his son Jonathan, 4, and his entire family, playing old Super Mario Brothers games that he downloads onto his Wii. He also likes listening to music, watching The Office and cooking all kinds of food. Would someday like to enroll in culinary school.
