Sebastian Venegas holds the position of Manager, Player Engagement at Major League Soccer Headquarters in New York City. In his role at MLS HQ, Sebastian provides support to the Player Engagement department across various initiatives. He oversees the MLS Great network, which facilitates the transition of players out of professional sport, leads the financial literacy program aimed at educating current players about financial matters in the United States and Canada, and manages player marketing appearance requests from various MLS partners. Sebastian commenced his career with FC Dallas as a youth coordinator. He rapidly advanced to become the MLS NEXT PRO Team Administrator and, most recently, served as the Player Care Manager for the first team for two years preceding his appointment with MLS in February 2025. With a longstanding involvement in the sport, Sebastian attended Midwestern State University, earning his undergraduate degree in Business Administration while competing for the university's NCAA Division II soccer team.
