Former Real Salt Lake academy player Zach Booth has signed for Leicester City's youth setup, the club has announced.

The U-17 United States international had spent two seasons with RSL's academy before making the the move across the Atlantic, one made easier because he holds an Italian passport. The center midfielder's aim is to spend time between the club's U-18 and U-23 sides this coming season, he told ESPN's Jeff Carlisle.

Booth's brother Taylor also spent time at RSL's youth setup before moving on to Bayern Munich, where he has progressed from the German giants' U-19 side to their full reserve side, also as a central midfielder.
