Goalkeeper Luis Robles was one of the stars of the 3-0 shutout win over FC Dallas by 10-man New York Red Bulls in Week 17. But it was his brother, Angel, who stole the show at Red Bull Arena.

Robles, who had six saves in the shutout win, was surprised when he spotted Angel, a U.S. Army Major returning from his deployment in Afghanistan, up in the RBNY supporter capo stand:

The Red Bulls arranged for Angel’s arrival earlier than scheduled and put him to work for the best postgame interview you’ll watch from Week 17:

“The way that this organization has embraced me and my family is truly amazing,” Robles told media in the locker room after the events out on the field. “To set something up like they did today speaks to … how special it is to play for this organization. So I was absolutely floored.”

Robles has been one of the leaders of the club since taking over as the starting ‘keeper for the Red Bulls in 2012. His record-setting ironman run of playing 183 consecutive matches ended in May, but it cemented his status as club legend.
