USMNT veteran Jermaine Jones makes MLS debut for the New England Revolution vs. Toronto FC

Jermaine Jones in Revs gear

Just under a week after he landed with the New England Revolution, Jermaine Jones has made his MLS debut.

The US international midfielder, who played every minute of the USMNT's four games at the 2014 World Cup, entered the field as substitute for Daigo Kobayashi in the 65th minute of the Revolution's game at Toronto FC, with the Revs leading 3-0.

Jones arrived with the Revs on Aug. 24 as a Designated Player following a blind draw, and participated fully in all four Revolution training sessions in the past week. He had not played a competitive game since the United States' World Cup campaign ended on July 1.
