US national team adds Graham Zusi, Christian Pulisic for Guatemala clash

Graham Zusi - Sporting Kansas City - Close up

The US men's national team will have reinforcements for Tuesday's grudge match against Guatemala (7 pm ET on ESPN2, UniMas and UDN) at MAPFRE Stadium after Jurgen Klinsmann on Sunday called up Sporting Kansas City's Graham Zusi and Borussia Dortmund teenager Christian Pulisic.

While Zusi is a veteran of the 2014 World Cup and has 32 caps, the 17-year-old Pulisic is being called up to his first USMNT camp after making his senior team debut for Bundesliga power Borussia Dortmund earlier this year.

Meanwhile, Borussia Moenchengladbach's Fabian Johnson is heading back to Germany to join his club team for further treatment on the groin injury which prevented him from playing in Friday's 2-0 loss in Guatemala City.

The US also announced that Sporting Kansas City's Matt Besler, who also did not feature on Friday, will return home "after sustaining a concussion in training last Thursday."
