Is Tyler Adams best at right back or at central midfield?

It's the debate that raged fiercely in 2019 when US national team head coach Gregg Berhalter played Adams in a hybrid right back role against Ecuador that generated positive reviews.

The debate is back after Adams, a product of the NY Red Bulls academy, played 72 minutes in a similar hybrid right back position for Bundesliga leaders RB Leipzig in their 2-0 loss at Eintracht Frankfurt in Week 19.
