Mathieu Flamini is the latest European to be linked to MLS, with an Italian outlet reporting over the weekend that the French midfielder could move to the league this summer.
Flamini, 32, is not expected to be retained by Arsenal next season and, according to Sport Mediaset, is likely to open talks with a number of MLS teams about a potential move to North America.
Flamini has spent the bulk of his career at Arsenal, racking up 168 league appearances and three FA Cup titles in two stints with the English Premier League club. He also played five years for AC Milan, winning the 2010-2011 Serie A title with the Italian giants. He has three career caps with the French national team.
