Juan Carlos Osorio named his first Paraguay squad with a heavy MLS influence.

Atlanta United duo Miguel Almiron and Tito Villalba, Red Bulls'Kaku, New York City FC'sJesus Medina, Portland Timbers'Cristhian Paredes and FC Dallas'Cristian Colman have all been called into Paraguay's team, who have no friendlies scheduled for the October international break.

Paraguay missed out on qualification for the 2018 FIFA World Cup by just two points. Osorio was hired as head coach on Sept. 3 after previously leading the Mexican national team during the 2018 World Cup cycle. He reportedly fielded multiple offers during his brief time unemployed.

Before the players report for international duty, a trio of the stars will be on the field at the same time. Almiron and Villalba travel to Kaku's Red Bulls on Sunday (1 pm ET | ESPN — Full TV & streaming info) as the top two teams in the league clash with the Supporters' Shield in the balance. Kaku and Almiron are tied for second in the league with 14 assists.
