SCENES: Celebrations in Orlando City locker and supporter parking lot after QF win on PKs

Orlando City earned what some are calling the biggest result in their club's brief MLS history, knocking off tournament favorites LAFC in a quarterfinal penalty kick shootout.


And they were celebrating like it was an epic win in the team locker room and in the parking lot that hosted a viewing party for supporters.


The Lions, who have missed out on the MLS postseason in each of their previous five seasons since joining the league, weren't considered one of the contenders for the MLS is Back Tournament. But the transformation of the club under new head coach Oscar Pareja is quickly delivering positive results. Now they're in the semifinals where they will face San Jose or Minnesota. 


Orlando overcame the disappointment of a failed penalty kick conversion by Nani in regulation and scored a dramatic late equalizer which pushed the match to a penalty-kick shootout. After the rollercoaster of emotions, the locker room exploded postgame:
