an odd bounce off the turf found Cunningham in the best position possible, and Cunningham made the most of it.

Real evened things up before halftime with a penalty kick. Jim Brennan pulled down Eskandarian from behind, and Eskandarian buried the shot from the spot for a 1-1 tie.

Real disagreed with the call in the 77th minute that awarded a penalty kick to Toronto. Jean-Martial Kipre took Collin Samuel down as he charged into the box, and Samuel hit home the subsequent penalty.

"That's a gift of a penalty," Watson said. "He wasn't in the box, he was five feet behind him, and the foul started five yards outside the box. He made his decision, and it's tough to deal with. We had our chances too, its just that we got unlucky with them."

After Toronto's penalty kick, Real pushed hard on offense. The team played well, and seemed to believe they could pull out a tie, but time ran out.

"I don't think we deserved to lose tonight," Watson said. "We need to finish our chances, myself included; it makes it tough to walk out of here tonight. I wish I could go out and play 10 more minutes right now, because I don't think the score would end 2-1 -- I'm almost positive of that right now."
