Updating Tuesdayās report that Quintana is ācloseā to moving to MLS, Uruguayan outlet Mercado Uruguay tweeted on Wednesday that the New York Red Bulls have made an offer for the 21-year-old center back.

Another player could be making his way from Uruguay to MLS, according to a report.
Uruguayan journalist Wilson Mendez tweeted on Tuesday that 21-year-old center back Yeferson Quintana is ācloseā to moving to MLS from PeƱarol.
Quintana made 22 appearances for PeƱarol in 2017, scoring three goals and starting 17 times to help the club to the Uruguayan Primera title. Heās made 26 league appearances and played 29 times for the club in all competitions since turning pro in 2016. He doesnāt have any experience at any level for any of Uruguayās national teams.
Diego Rossi already made the move from PeƱarol to MLS this winter, with the 19-year-old forward signing a Designated Player deal with LAFC in December.
