South Korean midfielder Ki Sung-yueng is generating interest from multiple MLS teams, according to reports.

The 31-year-old is currently without a club after leaving Newcastle United on Jan. 31 by mutual consent. He was reportedly set to join K-League side FC Seoul, but that move fell through leading up to Saturday's report that a move to MLS could be in the cards.

Ki started his professional career with FC Seoul before moving to Celtic, where he netted six goals in 66 appearances from 2010-2012. He then spent 2012-2018 with Swansea City, scoring 12 goals in 139 appearances before spending the next four seasons split between Sunderland and Newcastle. He was also a longtime staple of South Korea's national team, with 10 goals in 110 appearances before retiring from international play in 2019.

As it currently stands, it has not been confirmed which MLS teams have inquired about acquiring Ki's services.
