Sacha Kljestan is set to return to where his MLS life started, according to a report from the LA Times' Kevin Baxter.

The LA Galaxy will announce the 34-year-old Anaheim native as a free agent signing Monday, Baxter indicates, bringing Kljestan back to the stadium where his pro career began in the form of a five-year tenure with Chivas USA.

The Galaxy would be the fourth MLS stop for Kljestan, who is eighth on the league's all-time assist leaderboard with 93, and could conceivably catch D.C. United legends Marco Etcheverry (101) and Jaime Moreno (102) with another productive season.

Until last year, his second with Orlando City, Kljestan had been a regular starter at every stop of his MLS journey, which paused for a four-and-a-half year stint with Beglian powers Anderlecht.

However, he could be a prime candidate to follow the example of fellow SoCal native Chris Pontius, who has provided the Galaxy with quality attacking depth of the bench in his two years at Dignity Health Sports Park.
