A South American left back with over a decade of professional experience could soon come to Major League Soccer.

Miguel Samudio, speaking with ABC Cardinal — a radio station in his native Paraguay — said his agent is exploring offers from throughout MLS and Mexico.

Samudio, 32, has 41 caps for Paraguay and recently wrapped up his season with Liga MX side Queretaro FC. Before this stop, he’s suited up for Concacaf Champions League powerhouse Club America, Brazilian club Cruzeiro and Club Libertad in Paraguay.

Samudio added that he’s also looking to Argentina for a next step, so there’s no guarantee he joins MLS.

Should Samudio come, he’d join compatriots such as Portland Timbers right back Jorge Moreira, New York Red Bulls midfielder Alejandro Romero Gamarra and New York City FC winger Jesus Medina. Most famously, Miguel Almiron spent two years at Atlanta United before being sold to Premier League side Newcastle United for a league-record fee.
