Report: LAFC looking at Mexican GK Pablo Sisniega?

TRANSFER TRACKER STATUS: Report

Reports in the Spanish-language press claim a young Mexican goalkeeper could find a new home at LAFC.

The player is Pablo Sisniega, a 23-year-old on the books at Real Sociedad, where he's played for the reserve team to date. Real Sociedad is the club where LAFC star and Sisniega's compatriot Carlos Vela spent several seasons before his move stateside.

Reports, including from Marca, indicate Sisniega "will try his luck" with LAFC. The Black & Gold currently have just one goalkeeper under contract, 2018 starter Tyler Miller.

Sisniega is considered a prospect for the future for the Mexican national team. But his time at La Real has been interrupted by injuries, including a shock injury in Oct. 2018 that required emergency surgery where his spleen was removed after suffering a collision.

LAFC open the 2019 MLS regular season on March 3 at home against Sporting KC.
