Gyasi Zardes is presumably on quite a few clubs’ wish list this winter.
One of those teams made their intentions official, with Reading FC boss Steve Clarke telling local outlet GetReading.com this week that the young LA Galaxy forward is on his radar.
“Zardes has been on a few clubs' radar for a little while,” Clarke said. “He’s a player that we’ve had watched and we’ve got some reports on him. He’s another possibility that’s out there.”

Whether the Championship club could afford Zardes, Clarke said, is another question.
“That’s probably not a question I can answer.”
Reading are currently ninth in the Championship. Zardes, a Galaxy Homegrown player and emerging US national team fixture, just wrapped up his third year at StubHub Center and has 26 goals and 10 assists in 88 league appearances.
