David Bingham might soon be moving to southern California.

ESPN FC's Jeff Carlisle reported on Friday that the LA Galaxy are in the process of completing a trade with the San Jose Earthquakes for Bingham. LA are expected to send San Jose a combination of General Allocation Money and Targeted Allocation Money between $200,000 and $250,000.

While the move is only a rumor as of now, the Galaxy do seem to be in the market for a starting goalkeeper. LA had three different netminders in Jon Kempin, Brian Rowe, and Clement Diop make at least seven starts in 2017, and none of those players remain on the roster.

The 28-year-old Bingham started in each of the 23 matches he appeared in for the Earthquakes this season, but lost the starting role late in the year to Andrew Tarbell. Bingham made 58 saves and posted seven clean sheets in his appearances.
