TRANSFER TRACKER STATUS:Report
Justin Meram could soon have his latest new club in MLS, with ESPN's Jeff Carlisle reporting that the winger is in talks with Real Salt Lake.
Meram, who most recently featured for Atlanta United in the second half of last season, has already agreed to the bulk of terms with RSL, according to Carlisle.
The 31-year-old, a fixture in MLS since debuting with the Columbus Crew in 2011, had his option declined by Atlanta at the end of the 2019 season. Still, he was a reliable contributor for Frank de Boer's side after arriving in May, chipping in with four goals in 21 appearances (15 starts).
If he were to make the move to Real Salt Lake, they would be his fourth club in MLS, with the Iraq international also having enjoyed a brief spell at Orlando City in 2018. In total, Meram has contributed 43 goals and 37 assists in 243 regular-season appearances in MLS.
