Eric Lichaj could be the next US national team player to make the move to MLS.

The Nottingham Post reported on Monday that Lichaj is drawing interest from "several" MLS clubs. The only team specifically mentioned in the article is the New England Revolution, but there are allegedly others as well who are after the veteran fullback's signature.

Lichaj, who turned 29 last month, is currently in the final year of his contract with English Championship side Nottingham Forest. The defender is said to currently be in negotiations with them over a new deal, but no agreement has yet been reached.

A member of the US side that won the CONCACAF Gold Cup earlier this year, Lichaj has spent his entire professional career in England. He has played for a handful of clubs there since 2008, including Aston Villa and Leeds United, but has been with Forest since 2013.

Lichaj has made 10 league appearances (nine starts) this season, scoring once.
