Thanks to the New York Red Bulls and the YWCA of Essex and West Hudson, local children had the chance to experience a training session led by MLS players.

Seth Stammler, Sal Caccavale and Jarrod Laventure of the Red Bulls were on hand to offer professional training followed by an autograph session for the young soccer players who took part in the clinic.

The three professional players brought Red Bulls training coaches with them as well as the Red Bulls street team for entertainment.

Approximately 150-200 soccer players ranging from ages 5 to 11 took part and were taught how to properly dribble a soccer ball through different drills and games.

"It was good to see that many young kids excited about the game of soccer," Laventure said.

The goal of the clinic was to introduce and capture the attention of urban residents to the game of soccer and to their home team, the Red Bulls.
