U15s: The Red Bull U15s are not in season.
U14s: The Red Bull U14s are split into two groups, the U14 1996 team and the U14 Pre Academy team. The U14 1996 had the week off, while the U14 Pre Academy side posted a victory.
Last week, the Red Bulls U14 Pre Academy team defeated U14 Oakwood SC, 3-0, to run their winning streak to seven. It was the Red Bulls first home game of the season and they did not wait long to get on the scoreboard. Juan Pablo Rojas (Piscataway, NJ) scored just three minutes into the game off of an Adam Najem (Clifton, NJ) pass. Nick Innocenzi (Franklin Lakes, NJ) scored the second goal before halftime from a free-kick to give the Red Bulls a 2-0 lead at the break. Karl Cesar (Glen Oaks, NY) scored the third goal of the game in the second half to seal the victory. Goalkeeper Santiago Castano (Union City, NJ) was not really tested in the shutout victory.
US U17 National Team: Two Red Bull Academy products are competing at the FIFA U17 World Cup in Nigeria. Following a 2-1-0 record in group play, the U17s have advanced to the knockout stage. In the first match of group play, the US was up a man and a goal to Spain, but the final scoreline showed Spain with a 2-1 win. The US bounced back with consecutive, 1-0, wins over Malawi and the United Arab Emirates to place second in Group E and book their spot in the round of 16. Goalkeeper Keith Cardona (Glen Rock, NJ) has been the reserve goalkeeper in each match but has not been called upon. Forward John Agudelo (Barnegat, NJ) has also been in the 18 for each match, and came on as a substitute in the final group stage match against UAE. The US will play Italy on November 4 in the Round of 16, with the winner advancing to play the winner of Switzerland and Germany in the quarterfinals.
