Real Salt Lake is currently three points behind the Colorado Rapids (11-12-6, 39 pts, 4th West) for the fourth and final playoff spot in the Western Conference, while Kansas City is holding onto the fourth spot in the East, only two points clear of the New York Red Bulls (7-11-11, 32 pts).
