The Playback: Relive the most exciting match of Week 25

What was this weekend's best match?

Heading into Week 25, the general consensus was that Sunday night's Eastern Conference clash between Sporting KC and New York on ESPN 2 – the first of three matchups between the East's top two teams – was the game of the week. Of course, the match didn't live up to the advance billing, as both sides sputtered to a 1-1 draw at Livestrong Sporting Park.

The real fireworks came the night before in Columbus, as Jairo Arrieta and Federico Higuain put on quite the show to lead the Crew to a wild 4-3 victory against a desperate Revolution side.

After trading six goals and headed to what would have been an entertaining, yet ultimately unsatisfying, 3-3 draw, Arrieta popped up six minutes from time to give Robert Warzycha's side a 4-3 victory. The Costa Rican shared the headlines with Higuain, who marked his second MLS start with a pair of free-kick goals even David Beckham would be proud of. In between, New England's Ryan Guy and Jerry Bengtson found the back of the net and Lee Nguyen stepped up to convert what appeared to be the game-tying penalty kick.

All that was more than enough to convince the MLSsoccer.com editors to vote the Crew's win the most entertaining game of Week 25. Do you agree? Check out the extended highlights below, and let us know in the poll to the right.
