Winners of three consecutive matches, the Philadelphia Union are off to their best start ever and will face a stiff challenge when the Seattle Sounders come to Talen Energy Stadium Saturday night.


The Union (7-3-2) are coming off an impressive 2-1 win over Toronto FC at BMO Field with Jamiro Monteiro breaking a 1-all draw with the decisive goal, his second in MLS, in the 68th minute. Philadelphia have outscored opponents 14-3 in its current five-match unbeaten streak. 


The Sounders (7-1-4) are also unbeaten in five straight and have back-to-back wins after defeating Orlando City SC, 2-1, Wednesday night at CenturyLink Field. Raul Ruidiaz and Handwalla Bwana, who came on for an injured Jordan Morris, scored the goals.
