Fresh off winning a second MLS Cup title, the Seattle Sounders have their sights set on becoming the first MLS team to win the Concacaf Champions League, but face a difficult test against Honduran powerhouse Olimpia in the Round of 16.

This is the Sounders' sixth appearance in the competition, losing to Chivas de Guadalajara in the 2018 quarterfinals in their last outing. Seattle's deepest run came in 2012-13 when they lost to Santos Laguna in the semifinals. Olimpia are making their 11th appearance in this 12th iteration of the competition.

Though Olimpia usually play at the Estadio Tiburcio Carias Andino in their hometown of Tegucigalpa, this game — along with Atlanta's clash against Motagua — is set to be moved to the Estadio Olimpico in San Pedro Sula as the venue in Tegucigalpa is currently closed due to infrastructure issues.
