NYCFC re-acquire midfielder Ebenezer Ofori on loan from Stuttgart

NYCFC have re-acquired midfielder Ebenezer Ofori on loan from VfB Stuttgart with option to buy, the club announced Tuesday.

Ofori, 23, joined on loan last season for his first in the league and made 27 appearances (21 starts), scoring once. The Ghanian international made 9 2.Bundesliga appearances for Stuttgart after joining from Swedish side AIK, where he won the Allsvenskan's Best Midfielder award in 2015.  

"I'm super excited to come back to New York City FC for another season,” Ofori said in a media release. “I felt very at home last year playing for a club that I respect very highly. I cannot wait to do my best for the club this coming season."
