He may not (yet) have won a Goalkeeper of the Year award, but it's official: the fans have named Nick Rimando the best goalkeeper in MLS history.
The Real Salt Lake 'keeper already owns most of the records in MLS and has now beaten out 15 other players to take the top spot in our contest. You can check out the full bracket here.
Rimando, who is renowned for his ability to stop penalty kicks, defeated former Seattle Sounders goalkeeper Kasey Keller in the finals, collecting 80 percent of the vote. He had previously defeated Brad Guzan, Donovan Ricketts and Jimmy Nielsen.
