A pair of teams coming off dramatic wins on the weekend meet at Yankee Stadium in the midweek when red-hot New York City FC host the Seattle Sounders in the first match of Week 18.

NYCFC (6-1-8) stretched an MLS-best league unbeaten streak to 11 games when rallied for a 4-2 win over Eastern Conference-leading Philadelphia Saturday in the Bronx. Taty Castellanos drew a pair of penalty kicks, both converted by Maxi Moralez, while Moralez set up both of Castellanos' second-half goals as the Cityzens scored three unanswered goals in the win.

The Sounders (8-4-5) snapped a three-game losing streak, beating the Vancouver Whitecaps 1-0 in a Cascadia Cup showdown at CenturyLink Field Saturday night. Kelvin Leerdam scored the lone goal six minutes into second-half stoppage time, taking a feed from Brad Smith and rolling a 12-yard shot inside the far post.
