New York City FC have become the 12th team in MLS history to start a season with at least seven games undefeated after their 2-2 draw with Atlantaon Sunday afternoon.
The Cityzens will have to go five more matches unbeaten to tie the league record of 12 matches unbeaten to begin the season, set four times previously. The last to do that were a 2014 Real Salt Lake side that began the season 6-0-6.
