The New England Revolution announced the re-signing of defender DeJuan Jones on Friday after his solid rookie season in MLS.

Jones, 22, scored a goal and an assist in 20 regular-season appearances (14 starts, 1,296 minutes) as well as one U.S. Open Cup start and a full-90 performance in the Revs’ sole Audi 2019 MLS Cup Playoffs match, a 1-0 loss at Atlanta United in Round One.

The 11th overall selection in the 2019 MLS SuperDraft after four seasons at Michigan State University, the Lansing, Michigan product tabbed 16 goals and 14 assists across 75 NCAA appearances for the Spartans.
