A powerful storm cut a path through Middle Tennessee in the early hours of Tuesday morning, spawning tornadoes and leaving devastation in its wake. The city of Nashville, which on Saturday played host to the inaugural MLS game of Nashville SC, was heavily impacted, witnessing damaged buildings, downed power lines and streets scattered with debris.

A number of MLS clubs shared their support for Nashville SC and their city on social media Tuesday.

All involved with Nashville SC are physically okay, the club told MLSsoccer.com, though some were affected directly, including David Accam. The forward shared a video on social media showing the damage to his apartment, with shattered windows and debris across the floor.

At least 21 people have now been confirmed dead across four counties due to the storm.
