Nashville SC announces additional tickets released for inaugural MLS match

Nissan Stadium

Apparently tickets to Nashville SC’s inaugural Major League Soccer match are hotter than Nashville Hot Chicken.

The club announced due to high demand, Nissan Stadium’s 300 level has been open to ticket sales for the match against Atlanta United Feb. 29 (8 pm ET | FOX, FOX Deportes in US; MLS LIVE on DAZN in Canada).

“Surpassing the 30,000 tickets sold already represents the largest crowd in Nashville SC’s short history in professional soccer,” Nashville SC CEO Ian Ayre said in a statement. “We want to keep the momentum going and show everyone here in Nashville and around the world that Nashville SC has arrived in the Major League, with a historic attendance. It’s the hottest ticket in town and we are promising to put on a world class show and a night to remember. Everyone should want to play their part in this historic night for Nashville. Everyone N”

Previously, Ayre, said the goal for the opener was a complete sellout of 69,143.

“I’d love to fill the whole place, genuinely. That feels like an audacious target, or maybe an audacious ask of Nashville,” he said. “But I think if we’re going to do this, you need to be the best you can be.”
