Nani opens MLS account, then scores winner for Orlando City

Nani - Orlando City - March 2, 2019

Orlando City have looked to Nani to provide a lift for them since his arrival, and the Portuguese found a new way to deliver on Saturday.

With the Lions hosting the Colorado Rapids at Orlando City Stadium, and down 1-0 after Kei Kamara scored for the visitors, Nani scored his first goal in MLS, with a header off a recycled ball in the 31st minute. From there, Orlando's rally was on, as they quickly scored another goal to take the lead.

After a weather delay that lasted just over an hour, Nani then scored the winning goal to make it 4-3 in the 89th minute from the penalty spot, as the two teams traded metaphorical haymakers.

Nani now has two goals and three assists so far in MLS.
